Payment and Refunds

At BuildersAwareness we understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your enrolment in our online courses. We strive to provide a fair and transparent refund policy to accommodate such situations while also considering the costs associated with booking trainers, venue costs, and potential loss of revenue due to reserved spots that could have been offered to other applicants.

Full Refund Policy

Applicants are entitled to a full refund of their course fees if they cancel their enrolment up to 30 days before the course start date. This allows us ample time to adjust our resources and accommodate other applicants.

Partial Refunds

If an applicant cancels their enrolment within 14 days but more than 3 days before the course start date, they will be eligible for a 50% refund of their course fees. This partial refund reflects the costs incurred towards trainer fees and venue expenses and associated loss of revenue due to filling up a spot that could have been offered to another applicant.

No Refund

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 3 days of the course start date. This policy is in place due to the limited time available to fill the vacant spot and the impact on our ability to cover the costs associated with the course.

Refund Process

To request a refund, applicants must notify us in writing via email. Refund requests must include the applicant's full name used at the time of registration, course date, and proof of payment along with a brief reason for cancellation. We will try to process most refunds within 30 days of receiving the cancellation request. Intermediary financial institutions such as banks and payment processing channels might take additional time to have the refund processed to your account. We will only process refunds to the original payment source. The exception to this policy will be made on a case-by-case basis by the management of BuildersAwareness. If a policy change is required we might take up to 90 days to have such requests actioned.

Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unforeseen personal crises, we may consider issuing a full or partial refund at our discretion. Applicants must provide appropriate documentation to support their refund request in such cases.

By enrolling in our courses, applicants acknowledge and agree to abide by this refund policy. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our refund policy, please contact us at info@buildersawareness.com.au
